What is CBD?

CBD is the name of a cannabinoid in the cannabis plant. CBD is actually an abbreviation for Cannabidiol.

The cannabis plant contains more than 60 different cannabinoids, and CBD is just one of them. CBD is a chemical combination obtained from the cannabis plant.

CBD is not psycho-active and therefore, you will not get high.

What is CBDa?

CBDa is the initial acid-based stage of CBD.

This means that when fresh hemp plants are harvested, they mostly contain CBDa and only a little CBD.

Not until the drying and heating process, CBDa is converted to CBD (Cannabidiol).

What is THC?

THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) is the most frequently occurring cannabinoid in the hemp plant.

THC has a psycho-active effect and is the main substance in cannabis making us high.

Furthermore, it helps many people handling pains better and many stories and studies all over the world indicate that THC has a positive influence on the struggle against cancer.

What is THCa?

THCa is the natural initial stage of THC.

In the initial stage when fresh hemp plants are harvested, they mostly contain THCa and only a little THC.

Not until the drying and heating process (decarboxylation), THCa is converted to THC.

The Difference between THC and CBD

The two most common and well-known cannabinoids are THC (tetrahydrocannabinol) and CBD (cannabidiol).

These are to completely different substances having a different effect on the body, however both found in the cannabis plant. First and foremost, THC has a psychedelic effect, which CBD does not have.

They are different in some essential ways, hence given different potential advantages.

Do the CBD oils from Cannamor contain THC?

All of our products contain less than 0.2 percentage THC.

Unfortunately, we are not able to help when searching oils with a high content of THC.

Start-up and dosage of CBD Oil

This is a guide only for starting-up the use of CBD oil.

The oil is put under the tongue and kept in the mouth without swallowing until it disappears in the mouth. When putting the oil under the tongue, the mucous membranes in the mouth absorb the oil giving a higher absorption compared to drinking it, since the stomach acid destroys some of the good substances.

  • Day 1: use 1 drop in the evening on the first day to see how your body reacts to cannabinoids.
  • Day 2: use 2 drops in the evening on the second day.
  • Day 3: use 3 drops in the evening on the third day.
  • Day 4 -> 7: use 3 x 1 drop daily in the morning, at midday, in the evening, or all 3 drops before going to bed.

After the first week, you can evaluate if you are achieving the desired effect or if you need to increase your dose. You can increase your dose, 1 drop each day, without complications until you achieve the desired effect.

It is not recommended to consume foods and drink 15 min before and after using the oil. If having stomach problems then eat food first and use the oil 15-30 min after.

Most people feel a change during the first 2 weeks, but it might take longer, up to 4-5 weeks.

Sometimes, a little dizziness, headache and maybe nausea can occur when starting to use the product. However, most people do not experience these symptoms.

The daily dose required differs for each individual. Therefore, it is very important to sense and listen to the signals of the body.

Allergic reactions to cannabis and the underlying causes

It is never a guarantee that EVERYONE tolerates the CBD oil.

Just like many other things in everyday life and other natural medicaments and oils, you could react allergically to the CBD oil.

Like pollen from trees, grass and weed, cannabis pollen could cause an allergic reaction for at very little part of the population.

Does the use of CBD oil have any side effects?

Most people using CBD oil experience only a few or no side effects from the CBD oil at all.

When starting-up using CBD oil, you might experience a few side effects during the first couple of days.

The most frequent side effects are mouth dryness, dizziness/headache and diarrhea (CBD oil contains the substance chlorophyll, which cleans the intestinal system among other things).

Can I give CBD oil to my dog/cat/pets?

Using CBD for animals is completely safe.

CBD oil is known for its many characteristics and no dangerous side effects. Like with humans, CBD can raise the quality of life for your pet.

Animals do also consist of the endocannabinoid system and they have CB1 and CB2 receptors everywhere on their cells, just like humans.
